Located on the shores of the Casco Bay, Freeport, Maine was a thriving seafaring community in the 18th and 19th centuries. In the early 20th century the Casco Castle was opened as a tourist attraction in South Freeport. Today, lobstermen, clammers and mariners keep the traditions alive. This room was named to honor the lifeblood of the area- the Casco Bay.
Decorated in nautical blue and creamy white, the Casco Bay Room has hand-made wooden signs, postcards of Freeport and the Casco Castle and a seaside watercolor painting by local artist Catherine Breer. Enjoy the comfy chairs and reading lamp and smell the lilacs blooming outside your window. A first floor king room is perfect for those who want the luxury of a king bed without the extra stairs.
