Daughter of Winthrop & Letitia Fogg and niece of Donald MacMillan, Lillian’s Room is named after the sprightly young girl whose signature we found scribbled on the wall underneath the dining room. Lillian was great friends with the girls across the street, the Brown family.
Decorated in shades of coffee and cream with artwork reminiscent of Lillian and her sister Mae’s trip to Paris during their Grand Tour, Lillian’s Room has great morning sun and wonderful cross breezes from the east- and west-facing windows. Pull up at the desk in front of east window and stare out across the rooftops to see the sun come up. Or, relax in the comfy chairs reading a book while listening to birds chirping in the maples outside your window.
Please note, this room has a detached (across the hall) private bathroom. You are provided with the key to unlock your private bathroom and there are fluffy robes hanging in the closet for you to use. Pop one or more of the flock of rubber duckies into the bath with you!
This year’s rates:

Thank you for making our Mother’s Day so special. We are 3 tired mommies and a comfy bed, great fellowship, wonderful breakfast and meeting new friends were just what we needed. – Long Island
